Description: The Government of Uganda has received financing from the World Bank for the Investing in Forests and Protected Areas for Climate Smart Development Project and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for the supply of one (1) motor grader with accessories. Payments for this contract will be processed using the Direct Payment disbursement method as defined in the World Bank’s Disbursement Guidelines for Investment Project Financing, except for payments made through letters of credit.
Invitation to Bidders: The Uganda Wildlife Authority invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the supply of one (1) motor grader with accessories. The delivery period is within 16 weeks.
Procurement Method: Bidding will be conducted through Open National Procurement using a Request for Bids (RFB) as specified in the World Bank’s “Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers” (July 2016, updated August 2018, November 2020, and September 2023). This process is open to all eligible bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulations.

Bidding Document: The bidding document, in English, may be purchased by interested bidders upon the submission of a written application and payment of a non-refundable fee of UGX 100,000 (One hundred thousand shillings). Payment should be made in cash at the UWA cash office. The document will be issued to bidders upon presentation of the cash payment receipt.
Submission of Bids: Bids must be delivered to the address below on or before July 12, 2024, at 11:00am. Electronic bidding is not permitted. Late bids will be rejected. Bids will be publicly opened in the presence of bidders’ designated representatives and anyone who chooses to attend at the UWA Library at 11:30am on July 12, 2024.
Bid Security: All bids must be accompanied by a Bid Security of UGX 15,000,000 (Fifteen million shillings).
