Job Details: The Site Services & Security Services Assistant (SSSA) will be part of the security and facilities management team within the Operations Unit under the Finance and Administration Department. Key tasks include site supervision, monitoring external guards, crime prevention, incident reporting, security risk assessments, records management, and ensuring safety and efficiency in operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement security and safety protocols for all assigned facilities.
  • Regularly patrol and monitor project premises to ensure safety and discourage criminal activities.
  • Conduct regular site inspections for assigned facilities.
  • Manage opening and closing of all IDI assigned offices according to recommended timelines.
  • Evict trespassers and violators, detaining perpetrators while following legal protocols until authorities arrive.
  • Monitor surveillance cameras for any disruptions or unlawful activities.
  • Report daily activities and any incidents to management.
  • Support SSTL in testing security systems.
  • Use communication devices such as two-way radios effectively.
  • Collaborate with the Security Team to report and follow up on security-related incidents.
  • Maintain daily records including keys, clearance forms, staff attendance, and incident reports.
  • Work with external security guards at various rented facilities across district offices.
  • Coordinate infrastructure projects and supervise facilities maintenance, fittings, and repairs.
  • Supervise contracted companies for cleaning and waste management.
  • Maintain records of all maintenance work, occupational health and safety, and asset inventory.
  • Manage firefighting equipment and fire detection devices.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
  • Respond to emergencies when called upon.
