Key Responsibilities:

  1. Accountability to Beneficiaries:
    • Receive and record complaints and feedback from beneficiaries.
    • Compile monthly statistical data of complaints and feedback.
    • Enter data into World Vision and WFP Complaint systems.
    • Mobilize manageable numbers of beneficiaries for CBT distribution, quarterly verification, and monthly General Food and Cash Distribution.
    • Participate in mainstreaming Accountability to the Affected Persons (AAP) across all WFP activities.
    • Organize post-distribution review meetings (PDRM).
  2. Beneficiary Verification:
    • Admit and verify beneficiaries during food distribution.
    • Conduct monthly verification of in-kind assistance beneficiaries.
    • Perform quarterly verification of beneficiaries on Agent banking.
    • Monitor agent cash out points.
    • Ensure necessary verification equipment is functional.
    • Provide troubleshooting support.
  3. Reporting:
    • Prepare, download, and share daily GDT reports.
    • Compile and share quarterly verification reports.
    • Compile monthly statistical data of complaints and feedback.
  4. Retailer and Market Strengthening:
    • Mobilize retailers for bi-annual WFP targeting and monitoring assessments (MFI and RPME).
    • Assist retailer groups in creating and managing VSLAs and SACCOs for sustainable access to credit.
    • Follow up on retailer performance and support Retailer Performance Monitoring and Evaluation (RPME).
    • Organize trainings for retailers.
    • Organize identified retailer groups to establish leadership and governance.
    • Link VSLAs and SACCOs to formal financial service providers (FSPs) for sustainable credit options and digitalization.
