Job Description: The responsibilities of the position are to be performed in accordance with the provisions of Acacia’s ‘Employment Contract’ & the ‘Terms of Service’.

Job Purpose:

To carry out the duties of an English Teacher under the direction of the School Director and the Senior School Principal.
To promote the aims and objectives of the school and maintain its philosophy of education and Christian witness.

Main Duties and Responsibilities: As an English Teacher, you will be required to:

Have experience teaching across all ages including middle school, high school, and exam classes. Knowledge and experience of IGCSE and Advanced Placement English Language and English Literature is preferable but not essential.
Have a love of the subject.
Aspire to be a talented, dynamic, and ambitious teacher, ensuring good progress for all students.
Be dedicated to raising standards and working in partnership with others.
Inspire, engage, and enthuse students in English Language and Literature.
