Key Responsibilities:

Community Engagement, Assessment, and Design Process (50%)

  • Collect data and engage the community to understand their perception of WV identity.
  • Disseminate information through message boxes and engage the community.
  • Assist in developing a community communication plan.
  • Identify and engage key stakeholders at parish and sub-county levels and collaborate with local partners in wellbeing activities.
  • Supervise starter groups in their community engagement and local context exploration.
  • Oversee the assessment team in identifying the most vulnerable individuals and conducting vulnerability assessments.
  • Map community capacities and resources and support community reflection and planning.
  • Organize and support community summits at the parish level.
  • Help the community set their vision and priorities with starter group members.

Sponsorship Community Engagement and RC Registration (40%)

  • Share the community vision and priorities for validation.
  • Raise community awareness for sustainability and transition.
  • Support and engage the community in celebrating the completion of critical path steps.
  • Manage child sponsorship communications and registration processes for Registered Children (RCs).
  • Register children in the sponsorship program and share their histories with Support Offices (SOs).

Communication with National Office (NO) and Support Offices (SOs) (10%)

  • Expedite follow-up on all sponsorship communications from NO and SOs.
