Prequalification/Bid Notice tendering at Kyankwanzi District Local Government
PREQUALIFICATION/BID NOTICE
Procurement Notice No. 1 2024/2025
Kyankwanzi District Local Government invites applications/bids from suitably qualified and competent firms/individuals to undertake various works, supplies, and services for the Financial Years 2024/2025 – 2026/2027.
Prequalification for Works:
- General construction and renovation of buildings
- Electrical installation and solar supplies
- Construction of irrigation sites
Prequalification for Supplies:
- Supply and repair of office furniture and equipment (office tables, computer tables, and executive chairs)
- Supply of planting materials, farm inputs, and post-harvesting equipment
- Supply of motorcycles
- Supply of medical-related supplies
Annual Framework Contracts:
- Supply of office stationery, books, periodicals, newspapers, receipts, printing materials, and other office/computer consumables
- Supply of fuel and lubricants
- Repair and service of motor vehicles/cycles and generators
- Provision of catering services
- Supply of tyres and tubes
- Supply of culverts and other construction materials (cement, iron bars, gravel, sand, hardcore, bitumen, aggregates, project signposts, etc.)
- Hire of earth-moving equipment (excavators, bulldozers, etc. for road maintenance and construction of dams)
- Supply of agricultural chemicals, veterinary drugs, vaccines, chemicals, and equipment
- Supply of school desks and other ordinary office furniture
- Supply of cleaning tools, detergents, and fumigation services
- Supply and repair of computers and other related IT equipment
Application Procedure:
Bid/application documents can be inspected and obtained from the office of the District Procurement Officer, Monday to Friday between 8:00 am and 5:00 pm. The non-refundable fee payable through the IRAS system is as follows:
- Civil and other works: UGX 100,000/-
- Supply of goods and services: UGX 50,000/-
- Framework contracts: UGX 50,000/-
All bids/applications must be addressed to the Head Procurement and Disposal Unit, Kyankwanzi District Local Government, and placed in the bid box before 12:00 pm on 16th June 2023. Bids will be opened at 12:30 pm in the presence of interested parties in the District Council Hall.
Schedule of Activities:
- Publish bid notice: 23 May 2024
- Bid closing: 14 June 2024
- Evaluation process: 17-20 June 2024
- Display of BEB notice: 5th July 2024
