About This Role: The Project Officer will implement and coordinate an Integrated Early Childhood Education (ECE), child protection, and livelihood project in Parolinya Refugee settlement. This includes supporting parents, communities, and early learning centers to enhance access to quality early childhood education.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Implement project activities efficiently in targeted communities.
- Support project stakeholders including parents, ECD caregivers, and community leaders.
- Manage project funds in compliance with ChildFund’s standards.
- Mobilize and sensitize parents and community members for project participation.
- Coordinate with key stakeholders and enhance the network of ECD actors.
- Document and share knowledge and learning experiences from project interventions.
- Prepare activity reports and quarterly updates for the Project Manager.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Required Experience and Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in education/early childhood care, Child Development, Social Sciences, or Project Management.
- Minimum 2 years of experience implementing community-led programs for children 3-8 years in humanitarian settings.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs.
- Strong teamwork, networking, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Ability to ride a motorcycle and willingness to work in remote areas.
