Position Overview: Kampala Independent Hospital is expanding its exceptional team and is looking to hire a talented Midwife. If you are passionate about delivering quality care, we want to hear from you. Join our mission to provide patient-centered care to the Kampala community and beyond. You will work with a collaborative, multidisciplinary team and have access to the latest medical technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive midwifery care to patients.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort during labor and delivery.
- Monitor the health of mothers and babies, identifying any complications.
- Educate and support patients and their families about childbirth and newborn care.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
- Collaborate with doctors and other healthcare professionals to provide optimal care.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Midwifery or a related field.
- At least 24 months of experience in a similar role.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care.
