Mukwano Industries Uganda Ltd is seeking a skilled Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Technician to join their team. This role involves performing routine maintenance, installation, and repairs on air conditioning and refrigeration units to ensure efficient operation.
Key Result Areas:
- Carry out routine preventive maintenance checks on air conditioners and chillers.
- Plan and install air conditioning units.
- Prepare daily activity reports for submission to the Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Supervisor.
- Diagnose malfunctions and report to the Electrical Supervisor for corrective maintenance.
- Provide new installation services, repair existing units, and replace damaged parts.
- Clean parts like coils, drain lines, cooling towers, and condensation pans to ensure proper operation.
- Make requisitions for parts and necessary equipment to maintain inventory.
- Conform to environmental management system requirements.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Supervisor.
Educational Qualifications and Experience:
- Ordinary diploma in refrigeration and air conditioning.
- 2 years of relevant experience in a similar role.

- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to develop, formulate strategy, and exercise good judgment.
