Job Title: Nursing Officer

Job Purpose: To provide quality nursing services to patients and participate in implementing public health interventions within the community.
Key Outputs:
- Patients received, registered, and prepared for diagnosis.
- Quality nursing care and treatment provided to patients.
- Proper records of patients maintained.
- Bedside nursing procedures carried out.
- Patients prepared for and served meals.
- Clean and healthy environment maintained.
- Staff supervised and appraised.
- Patients and their attendants sensitized about health practices.
Key Functions:
- Diagnosing, treating, and managing patients.
- Promoting public health practices in the community.
- Participating in research activities and health data collection.
- Engaging in continued professional development.
Qualifications:
- Must have an MB.Ch.B or its equivalent from a recognized institution.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
- Must be registered and licensed with the Uganda Medical and Dental Practitioners Council.
