Job Purpose: This role is responsible for routine IT security monitoring and configuration of network security in compliance with security policies and IT operating procedures and execution of network Disaster Recovery procedures.
Key Result Areas:
- Ensure antivirus solutions are updated for all devices.
- Perform security reviews of Endpoint devices and report any deviations from policies.
- Conduct technology risk assessment for the technology environment, reporting all inherent technology risks.
- Conduct cybersecurity awareness and training for users.
- Responsible for data protection and execution of network Disaster Recovery procedures.
- Provide support to Internal Audit, Risk Management, and External Audit functions when required.
- Manage the Security Centre to ensure security systems and software are updated with the latest software updates and all End Point devices are running up-to-date antivirus signatures.
- Effectively manage the spam filter to ensure spam emails from unwanted sources are efficiently filtered and stopped, minimizing the risk of cyber-attacks.

Person Specifications:
Education & Training:
- Bachelor’s Degree in ICT and Computer-related studies, e.g., Computer Science, Computer Engineering, IT, or related fields such as Statistics, Data Science, Mathematics, Electrical, Data Communication, and Networks.
- Relevant Post Graduate IT training and/or certification, e.g., CCNA and ITIL.
Skills & Experience:
- At least 3 years’ experience in Network Security.
- Good networking skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
