INVITATION TO PRE-QUALIFY FOR WORKS, SUPPLIES, SERVICES AND FRAMEWORK CONTRACTS
BID NOTICE 1
REF NO: KAAB839/PREQ/2024-2025
Kaabong District Local Government now invites suitably qualified bidders to submit sealed bids/expressions of interest to undertake Works, Supplies, Services and Framework Contracts for Financial Year 2024-2025 as listed below.

CATEGORY A: WORKS, SERVICES AND SUPPLIES
1. Hydrogeological Survey and Drilling of Boreholes.
2. Construction of Piped Water System.
3. Construction, Renovation and Completion Works.
4. Supply and Installation of Solar Components, Generators, Computers, Printers, Projectors and Photocopiers with Their Accessories.
5. Supply of Education and Sports Materials to Schools.
6. Supply of Borehole Spare Parts and Water Consumables.
7. Supply of School Desks, Office Furniture and Cabinets with Their Fittings.

CATEGORY B: FRAMEWORK CONTRACTS
1. Provision of Fuel, Oils and Lubricants (Attach Rates).
2. Provision of Meals, Refreshments and Conference Services (Attach Rates).
3. Repair and Maintenance of Computers, Printers and Photocopiers (Attach Rates).
4. Provision of Road and Building Construction Materials (Attach Rates).
5. Repair and Maintenance of Office Furniture and Equipments (Attach Rates).
6. Hire of Road Equipments (Attach Rates).
7. Power installation and maintenance (Attach Rates).
8. Provision of Tyres and Tubes for Motor Vehicles, Cycles and Road Plants (Attach Rates).
9. Mechanical Repair, Maintenance and provision of spares parts of Motor Vehicles (Attach Rates).
10. Mechanical Repair, Maintenance and provision of spares parts of Motor Cycles and Generators (Attach Rates).
11. Provision of Assorted Stationary, Printing, Binding and Engraving Services (Attach Rates).
12. Renting out of Kaabong Hospital Guest House (Attach Rates). 13. Provision of Cleaning and Maintenance Services for Kaabong Hospital (Attach Rates).

Pre-Qualification Submissions/Expressions of interest will be evaluated in accordance with The Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Assets Regulations, Pre-qualification is open to all eligible bidders. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from Kaabong District Local Government and inspect the pre-qualification documents at the Procurement and Disposal Unit from 8:30AM to 5:00PM. The pre-qualification documents in English may be purchased by interested bidders from Kaabong DLG (Procurement and Disposal
Unit) upon payment of 50,000/= and 70,000/= non-refundable fee for category A and B respectively through Integrated Revenue Administration System (IRAS) operated and issued by the District Finance and Accounts section contact person 0782714061.
The method of payments will be bank deposit and the documents will be sent by either Hard or Soft Copy.

REQUIREMENTS
1. Original general payment receipt of non-refundable fee (verified by District Accountant).
2. A copy of registration certificate and registration particulars clearly indicating the nature of business registered for (verified by UPSB). 3. Valid income tax clearance certificate for FY 2024-2025 addressed to Kaabong DLG.
4. Valid trading license for 2024-2025 (verified by Finance/Account Controller).
5. Experience in executing similar contracts.
6. Performance on similar contracts.
7. Capacities with respect to equipments and manufacturing facilities.
8. The qualification and experience of the personnel of the bidders.
9. The financial capacity of the bidder to perform the proposed contract. A copy of current business statement from a recognized bank for the last three months from the date of advert (Provide certified copy).
10. The facilities or representation at or near the location for performance of the contract, Physical and postal addresses of individual businesses and their contacts (Provide active Emails, Telephones and Location).
11. The available capacity to undertake the assignment.
12. A copy of Power of attorney authorizing signatory to the bid (verified by URSB).
13. A copy of PPDA registration certificate (verified by PPDA).
14. Evidence of Tax exemption and VAT registration certificates for those registered.
15. Two similar copies (one original and copy)

Tender application must be submitted in a sealed envelope clearly marked Tender for… and addressed to The Head Procurement and Disposal Unit, PO Box 16 Kotido.
Bids shall be hand delivered to Kaabong District Procurement and Disposal Unit at or before 20 AUGUST 2024 at 12:00Pm. No liability will be accepted for loss or late delivery, late bids shall be rejected. Bids will be opened in the presence of bidders or their representatives who choose to attend at Kaabong District Headquarters exactly at 12:30PM the same date and day.
