Mukwano Industries Uganda Ltd is seeking an Instrumentation Technician to join their team. This role involves setting up and maintaining electronic instrumentation, ensuring all instruments support quality and efficiency during production.
Key Result Areas:
- Devise, select, and set up electronic instrumentation and related apparatus.
- Translate instrumentation test data to formulate engineering designs and evaluation decisions.
- Schedule and carry out periodic preventive/corrective maintenance and calibration of all instrumentation gadgets.
- Ensure strategic positioning and installation of instrumentation gadgets on all projects and modifications.
- Develop specifications for non-standard instrumentation apparatus.
- Conduct regular inspections, condition monitoring, and maintain the integrity of all process instruments.
- Work along with electricians for improvement projects, modifications, new installations, and shift activities.
- Maintain log records and ensure functional operational status of instrumentation gadgets in plants.
Educational Qualifications and Experience:
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or any related discipline.
- Minimum of 2 years of instrumentation working experience in an engineering environment.
