Job Summary: The Head of Employee Banking will lead the growth of the Employee Banking unit, increasing profitability and market share by managing effective relationships that boost the Asset, Deposits, and Wealth management Portfolio. This role involves upholding corporate value propositions and developing sales processes and service models in collaboration with segment, products, and credit policy teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategy:
- Implement and execute Employee Banking strategic priorities to strengthen relationships and grow penetration with focus Employee Banking schemes.
Business:
- Ensure MIS accuracy and discipline.
- Manage resource allocation, capacity, and costs linked to the participation model and product/segment strategies.
- Develop an effective compensation scheme for sales teams.
- Conduct periodic reviews with stakeholders on NTB Channels deliverables and effectiveness.
Processes:
- Create customized corporate offers, including corporate value propositions, segment-based offers, balance transfer, and payroll transfer programs.
- Plan and execute on-site corporate events, seminars, and campaigns, and evaluate sales effectiveness.
- Install corporate sales/service desks and conduct digital service camps.
- Monitor competition and offer differentiated value propositions.
- Drive Employee Banking bundle propositions and achieve bundling targets.
- Implement corporate portals and execute digital campaigns.
- Manage the sales process for corporate onboarding and account fulfillment.
- Support and execute cross-border mandates for key clients.
People and Talent:
- Lead the Employee Banking channel.
- Energize the team to deliver optimal results.
- Implement HR standards and strategies, manage succession planning, retain key talent, and enforce performance management discipline.
- Address training needs with the Learning Academy and implement training roadmaps.
- Achieve desired “MyVoice” scores.
Governance:
- Ensure 100% compliance with rules and regulations.
- Maintain adherence to operational risk controls and procedures.
- Prevent mis-selling, misrepresentation, fraud, and ensure data confidentiality.
- Comply with all policies, guidelines, and local regulatory requirements.
- Achieve satisfactory audit ratings and avoid adverse findings in audits.
- Report any suspicious activities as per money laundering prevention procedures.
Regulatory & Business Conduct:
- Exemplify conduct and live by the Group’s Values and Code of Conduct.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, guidelines, and the Group Code of Conduct.
- Identify, escalate, mitigate, and resolve risk, conduct, and compliance matters.

Qualifications:
Education:
- Relevant tertiary education in Marketing and Business Management.
Training:
- In-depth knowledge of Retail Banking products.
- Knowledge of banking practices, regulations, and credit policies.
- Technical competencies in competitor awareness, customer segmentation, and training, presentation, and selling skills.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Retail Banking.
