Empowerment & Livelihood for Adolescents (ELA) Program
BRAC’s program for adolescents is designed to socially and economically empower teenage girls through providing safe spaces for them to socialize and receive mentoring, life skills, and financial literacy. The ELA+ project is therefore seeking to recruit staff to fill vacant positions.

Core Roles and Responsibilities:
- Provide technical guidance and leadership during ELA+ implementation of project activities under GPECM and Spotlight.
- Support in developing and implementing project work plans and budget lines in line with the approved project work plans and budget.
- Support tracking, monitoring, evaluation, and documentation of project outputs, outcomes, impact, or results, and work with other implementation partners and project staff to develop work plans.
- Network, coordinate, and collaborate with other project implementing partners including government stakeholders.
- Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment, and exploitation to achieve the program’s goals on safeguarding implementation.
- Act as a key source of support, guidance, and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
- Support timely accountability for funds used to implement the project in line with BRAC accounting policies and procedures and donor requirements.
- Initiate regular, participatory assessments/feedback surveys with client communities.
Safeguarding Roles:
- Read, understand, practice, promote, and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
- Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place and encourage others to do so.
Required Qualifications and Skills:
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, SWASA, Development Studies, or any relevant field with demonstrated relevant experience.
- Post Graduate Diploma in Project Planning and Management is an added advantage.
- Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in managing social protection projects, youth projects, gender projects, and livelihood projects.
- Experience working with youth and adolescents and good experience with different aspects of project management including development, planning, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation, and supervisory experience.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under minimum supervision and handle multiple tasks.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
