Job Details:
Platinum Credit (U) Ltd is seeking to hire 4 Recoveries Officers. The officers will be based at the Head Office in Kampala, with frequent travels upcountry. The primary responsibility is to manage assigned credit facilities in default to minimize, control, or avoid loss to Platinum Credit (U) Ltd.
Key Duties/Responsibilities:
- Achieve set recovery targets.
- Negotiate viable repayment plans and ensure consistency of payment by clients.
- Conduct field visits and serve demand letters at customers’ workplaces/homes to persuade or cause them to pay.
- Update client accounts with feedback collected and upload necessary documents into the system.
- Perform skip tracing.
- Consider refinancing clients on payroll within acceptable credit policies.
Required Qualifications and Work Experience:
- Minimum of 1-year experience in a similar position or any other collections-related role, preferably in a financial institution.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Age: 22-33 years.
- Male candidates are encouraged to apply.
- Degree in a relevant field.
- Computer knowledge.
- Excellent numerical and analytical skills.
