Marriott International seeks a Multi-property General Manager to function as the primary strategic business leader for a cluster of full-service properties. This role encompasses leadership and management responsibilities, including guest and employee satisfaction, human resources, financial performance, and sales and revenue generation. The General Manager will lead the implementation of property-wide strategies to meet or exceed guest expectations and build strong relationships with key customers through active involvement in the sales process. Additionally, the role requires proactive communication with property ownership, setting and managing expectations, and delivering solid business results. The General Manager will oversee pre-opening processes for new properties and ensure effective sales and revenue strategies for all units within the cluster.
Candidate Profile:
Education and Experience:
- 2-year degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or a related major; 8 years’ experience in management operations, sales and marketing, or related professional area.
OR
- 4-year bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or a related major; 6 years’ experience in management operations, sales and marketing, or related professional area.

- Builds and maintains owner relationships as a business partnership.

- Managing Profitability
- Identifies key drivers of business success and keeps the team focused on achieving results.
- Reviews sales goals and strategies for alignment with brand business strategy.
- Champions change to ensure property profitability.
- Maintaining Revenue Management Goals
- Supports General Managers in executing sales and revenue management activities.
- Leverages sales and revenue engines to improve RevPAR year over year.
- Aligns revenue strategies among area properties.
- Ensures capital expenditure funds address brand business strategy priorities.
- Managing Property Operations
- Holds staff accountable for performance.
- Utilizes an “open door” policy.
- Communicates property goals to produce desired results.

- Managing and Conducting Human Resources Activities
