Job Purpose:
The Senior Human Resource Officer will develop and implement strategies to provide comprehensive HR and welfare support, ensuring employee and client well-being, safety, and development. This role aims to create a positive and inclusive work environment aligned with company values, ensuring compliance and driving business success through effective HR management.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement HR strategies, policies, and procedures.
- Manage recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, and training.
- Ensure compliance with employment laws.
- Administer employee benefits, remuneration, and statutory deductions on time.
- Develop strategies to celebrate successes and milestones, providing regular feedback.
- Oversee workforce mobility, ensuring optimal staffing levels while aligning with organizational policies.
- Allocate resources and job assignments efficiently to meet organizational needs.
- Ensure transparency, integrity, and fairness in internal mobility processes.
- Maintain HR records accurately.
- Collaborate with employees to define development goals and recommend appropriate actions.
- Define clear objectives for employee professional development.
- Provide regular HR reports.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum of 4 years of progressive generalist HR management experience.
- Professional certifications such as CIPD, SHRM, or equivalent are highly desirable.
- In-depth knowledge of labor laws.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
- Proven ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to foster healthy employee relations.
- Creative skills.
Added Advantage:
- Master’s degree in HR or relevant certification is a plus.
- Experience with Human Resources Management Software.
