Role:
Provide project and program support to the We Effect Uganda Country Office, focusing on program implementation, partner support, documentation, logistics, and other assigned tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Program Support:
- Assist in the implementation of projects/programs in line with We Effect’s thematic areas.
- Help report progress and implement project/program activities.
- Conduct research and prepare input for funding proposals and resource mobilization strategies.
- Draft and edit program reports.
- Support field visits and develop field visit reports.
- Partner Support:
- Communicate with stakeholders and partners, and manage social media content.
- Document partner case/field stories.
- Develop partner project monitoring tools, review indicators, guide data collection, conduct surveys, and analyze results.
- Guide partners in drafting training concepts and provide technical support.
- Support program staff during field visits and coordinate activities with partners and stakeholders.
- Documentation Support:
- Update CROPS and follow up on partner monthly briefs.
- Assist partners with MEALS/WIMS, data entry, and troubleshooting.
- Ensure all partner project documents are filed physically and digitally.
- Maintain project filing systems and update program databases.
- Assist in knowledge transfer and information sharing.
- Logistical Support:
- Coordinate and organize online meetings, schedule trainings, take meeting minutes, draft reports, and maintain filing systems.
- Assist with logistical aspects of field visits and organizing program meetings and trainings.
- Other Support:
- Execute additional tasks assigned by the Country Manager.
Working Arrangements:
- 40-hour workweek with a hybrid working arrangement.
- Report to the Country Manager.
- Volunteer must arrange for own medical insurance and be eligible to work in Uganda.
- No expectation of employment at the end of the volunteer opportunity.
- Terms of Reference may change based on organizational requirements and priorities.

Qualifications:
- Education:
- Degree in Agriculture-related fields, Development Studies, Environmental Science, Monitoring & Evaluation, Social Sciences, Gender Studies, or related fields.
- Professional certification or additional training in project/program management, monitoring and evaluation, proposal writing is an advantage.
- Work Experience:
- At least two years of experience in programming/project management with farmer-based organizations and knowledge of sustainable agriculture.
- Skills and Competencies:
- Strong IT skills, proficiency in MS Office, data entry, and report writing.
- Fluent in English.
- Attention to detail, confidentiality, effective communication, ethics, interpersonal skills, proactivity, openness to diverse perspectives, positive attitude, and ability to multitask.
