Your Mission: At Glovo, we are revolutionizing the delivery market across Africa by providing exceptional service to our clients. Our goal is to deliver the trendiest products from local businesses to customers in under 30 minutes. As a Partner Operations Analyst for Uganda, you will be instrumental in the Glovo Partners team, ensuring operational excellence and improving partner experiences.
The Journey:
- Analyze and Optimize: Monitor and enhance Partner Operations metrics specific to the Uganda market, driving continuous improvement in partner performance, including preparation times, order cancellations, and customer ratings.
- Advisor Role: Serve as a trusted advisor to our partners in Uganda, offering tailored guidance to improve and adapt their operations for optimal delivery performance in the region.
- Project Coordination: Work on projects with global and regional teams to ensure alignment with company objectives while considering regional nuances and challenges.
- Collaborate: Work closely with the commercial team, especially Account Managers and Key Account Managers, to assist in individual performance improvement plans for their accounts.
- Advocate: Push for product enhancements and tech feature improvements tailored to the Uganda market, providing proactive feedback on local needs and opportunities.
- Team Collaboration: Foster a collaborative environment, sharing knowledge and insights specific to African markets to drive collective growth and development.
What You Will Bring to the Ride:
- Experience: 2-3 years in fast-paced environments, preferably in startups, consulting firms, or internet companies.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills with a data-driven mindset, capable of making informed decisions and solving complex problems in African markets.
- Ownership Mentality: Demonstrated ownership mentality with a proactive approach to achieving objectives and meeting deadlines.
- Project Management: Excellent project management abilities with the capacity to implement scalable solutions.
- Communication Skills: Persuasive communication skills and the ability to engage stakeholders effectively across diverse cultural backgrounds in Africa.
- Adaptability: Comfortable working in a high-growth startup environment with a fast pace, adaptable to the unique challenges and opportunities of African markets.
- Language Proficiency: Proficiency in English, both written and verbal, with additional language skills relevant to African regions preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Google Docs and MS Office, with required proficiency in Excel; other technical skills are valued.
