Job Brief:
We are seeking an experienced Marketing Manager to help establish and grow our brand in Uganda. The role involves working across various levels and departments to identify and effectively communicate our unique value proposition.

If you are creative, strategic, and have experience in B2C mobile app marketing, we would like to meet you. Your ultimate goal will be to initiate our market entry, build the brand, and eventually expand the local team.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze brand positioning and consumer insights.
• Translate brand elements into actionable plans and go-to-market strategies.
• Manage localized marketing efforts and initiatives.
• Lead creative development to inspire the target audience to “take action.”
• Measure and report the performance of marketing campaigns, assessing ROI and KPIs.
• Monitor market trends, research consumer markets, and analyze competitors’ activities.
• Oversee new and ongoing marketing and advertising activities.
• Devise innovative growth strategies.
• Align the company around the brand’s direction, choices, and tactics.

Requirements and Skills:

• Proven working experience as a Marketing Manager or in a similar role, ideally with experience in both agency and corporate/startup environments.
• At least 3-5 years of experience in B2C mobile app marketing.
• Proven experience in content creation, creative strategy, and implementation.
• Experience in identifying target audiences and devising effective campaigns.
• Excellent understanding of the full marketing mix.
• Strong analytical skills paired with a creative mind.
• Experience working with global, fintech, or startup companies is an advantage.
• Degree in marketing or a related field.
