Job Description
We seek a motivated and skilled IT Support Officer to help manage our IT systems. The successful candidate will ensure our IT infrastructure runs smoothly, handle system administration, manage CCTV cameras, and provide programming support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provided technical support for partners and clients on hardware, software, and network issues.
- Perform system administration tasks like managing user accounts, system updates, and backups.
- Manage and maintain CCTV camera systems, ensuring they work well and are secure.
- Develop and maintain scripts and small applications in at least two programming languages.
- Monitor system and website performance and security, fixing any problems.
- Help create and document IT policies and procedures.
- Train and support staff and clients on IT systems, websites, and applications.
- Work with the IT team on projects to improve IT services.
Required skills and qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in IT support and system administration.
- Strong knowledge of CCTV camera management and related software.
- Proficiency in at least two programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, C++, JavaScript).
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Good understanding of network protocols and security principles.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Linux and Windows operating systems.
- Knowledge of Content Management Systems (e.g., WordPress).
- Familiarity with cloud services and virtualization technologies.
- Understanding of IT service management frameworks like ITIL.
- Certifications such as CCNA, CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, or similar.
