Job Details:
Description: The Hospital Data Management/ICT Officer will support Mildmay Uganda Hospital departments in data, information management, and electronic systems. The role involves collaborating with the ICT Manager and IT Officers to ensure the functionality of electronic systems in various hospital units and departments. Responsibilities include system audits, capacity building, and infrastructure optimization.
Qualification & Experience:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Statistics.
- Experience: At least 3 years of work experience in Data Management or Database Management.
- Technical Skills: Knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server, programming knowledge (VB.NET and C#).
- Additional Skills: Ability to address business needs with effective technical solutions. Experience or knowledge in Clinic Master is an added advantage.
- Personal Attributes: Good communication and interpersonal skills, ability to maintain good working relationships with clients and colleagues, customer-focused, and in sympathy with Mildmay Uganda’s Christian ethos.
