Job Description:
NFT Consult is currently seeking a skilled Driver to safely transport personnel and assets while maintaining a professional demeanor and prioritizing safety at all times.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Safely transport personnel and packages between designated locations.
- Maintain a travel log to record work hours, travel time, and locations visited.
- Promptly report any tickets issued against the company vehicle during work hours.
- Provide a high standard of service to internal and external guests.
- Ensure punctuality and safe transportation practices.
- Basic knowledge of vehicle mechanics and maintenance to keep company vehicles clean and road-worthy.
- Adherence to road and traffic laws and regulations.
- Maintain cleanliness, tidiness, and security of the vehicle.
- Perform regular maintenance checks and ensure vehicle insurance and registration are up to date.
Education, Skills, and Qualifications:
- Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE) or Senior Four.
- Minimum of 4 years’ experience as a driver in a corporate environment with a clean driving record.
- Valid driving license (class B) and certificate in defensive driving.
- Excellent driving skills and understanding of transport laws and regulations.
- Effective teamwork, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Knowledge of car mechanics.
- Proficient in English communication.
- Organized, systematic, accountable, responsible, and punctual.
- Team player with personal grooming and presentation skills.
- Discreet and respectful of confidentiality.
