Job Details:
Job Summary: The Assets and Liabilities Manager will oversee strategic policies that enhance the bank’s asset and liability management, aiming to increase profitability under the guidance of the Chief Finance Officer, in alignment with the bank’s vision and objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic policies for the bank’s asset and liability management.
- Ensure adherence to asset and liability policies, complying with local laws, internal regulations, and international standards.
- Prepare reports and statistics on assets and liabilities for the ALCO Committee.
- Provide leadership in balance sheet and capital management, aligning with ALCO priorities.
- Monitor and manage interest rate and liquidity risk to prevent potential losses.
- Price treasury products following ALCO guidelines and business needs.
- Ensure compliance with international funding and liquidity principles.
- Produce liquidity metrics and early warning indicator reports regularly.
- Build the Funds Transfer Pricing yield curve for foreign and local currency periodically.
- Prepare monthly performance reports for the asset and liability section.
- Forecast capital plans in collaboration with group heads and departments for ALCO presentation.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or related field from a recognized university.
Experience:
- At least 4 years of professional experience in Asset and Liability Management.
Skills and Competencies:
- Comprehensive understanding of balance sheet management and internal reporting requirements.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
