Serving over 36,000 clients in 17 districts of the Mid-Western and Central regions of Uganda, ENCOT Microfinance Limited (ENCOT) is a fast-growing, innovative microfinance institution with a social impact mission. Operating a network of 10 branches in locations such as Hoima, Masindi, Kigumba, Kagadi, Nakasongola, Kawempe, Luweero, Bweyale, Katikara, and Karuguuza, ENCOT’s mission is to provide microfinance services to low-income smallholder farmer communities, particularly women, helping them create their own paths out of poverty through job creation. ENCOT is urgently seeking dynamic, self-motivated, and result-oriented professionals to fill the following position:
Position: Sales Executives – Kigumba, Bweyale, and Nakasongola
Note: All applicants MUST be residents of the branches they intend to apply to.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conduct market research to identify selling possibilities and evaluate customer needs.
- Actively seek out new sales opportunities through cold selling, networking, and social media.
- Set up meetings with potential clients to listen to their wishes and concerns.
- Prepare and deliver appropriate presentations on products and services.
- Create frequent reviews and reports with sales and financial data.
- Participate on behalf of ENCOT in exhibitions and conferences.
- Negotiate/close deals and handle complaints or objections.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve good results.
- Gather feedback from customers or prospects and share with internal teams.
Core Capabilities:
- Proven experience as a sales representative or in a relevant role.
- Proficiency in English and at least two local languages.
- Thorough understanding of marketing and negotiation techniques.
- Fast learner with a passion for sales.
- Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
- Aptitude for delivering attractive presentations.
Education and Experience:
- Minimum certificate in Social Work, Education, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Hands-on experience in marketing operations is an added advantage.
