Job Details:
Total Energies is looking for a Retail Territory Executive to manage, optimize, and develop the economic and commercial performance levels of a network of stations. This includes overseeing Company owned-Dealer operated (CODO) and Dealer owned-Dealer operated (DODO) stations, controlling financial risks, and ensuring adherence to hygiene, quality, safety, environmental, and image standards.
Experience/Qualifications:
- Minimum Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, Statistics, or Accounting.
- Minimum Experience: 3 years post-qualifying experience.
- Skills Required: Customer-oriented mindset, reliability, analytical skills, interpersonal skills, and team leadership ability.
Key Objective:
To manage, optimize, and develop the economic and commercial performance levels of a network of stations while controlling financial risks and ensuring adherence to standards regarding hygiene, quality, safety, the environment, and image.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Ensure all HSEQ rules and working instructions are followed.
- Ensure that all station staff are trained and that incidents and accidents at the station are correctly recorded and actions taken.
- Ensure the application of HACCP working instructions.
- Implement the commercial strategy of Total Energies Marketing Uganda Limited.
- Coordinate, develop, and supervise the policies of the Network section.
- Negotiate, validate, and follow the commercial objectives, propose a development plan for the sales area.
- Develop a competition Watch.
- Prospect potential clients, properties, and stations for new developments/partnership opportunities.
- Develop the card business (penetration rate of fleet card sales).
- Ensure the smooth operation of Guichet Unique (GU) & its business growth within the territory.
- Ensure that the dealers and station staff meet their objectives of the Guichet Unique project.
- Propose and negotiate the economic aspects of the MLAs for the assigned territory on renewal.
- Analyze the economic and commercial performance levels for all the businesses (Fuel, lubes, SFS, LPG).
- Maintain Territory control (record audits for YD stations, monthly stock movement for FDs and DODOs).
- Ensure compliance with local fiscal and social regulations.
- Ensure that all dealers sign monthly account statements to acknowledge their account balances with TEMUL.
- Conduct financial controls for all young dealers every month.
- Assess Territory stations’ training needs and propose an adequate training plan for all station staff.
- Follow customer complaints and action plans with the dealer.
