Your Mission: The Q Commerce Sales team in Uganda is responsible for partnering with both smaller local stores and bigger brands to feature them on the Glovo platform. You will work with the support of a sales team and a local Q-Commerce Lead in Uganda. As a Sales Executive, you will play a key role in creating a pipeline and signing up local stores and corporate customers across the city.
Responsibilities:
- Partnership Development: Seal partnerships with top accounts, ensuring alignment with company goals.
- Revenue Ownership: Ensure all deals meet the required profitability for your country.
- Long-Term Partnerships: Build and maintain long-term partnerships, ensuring a fast and smooth onboarding process.
- Pipeline Management: Keep your sales pipeline updated on a daily basis.
What You Will Bring to the Ride:
- Language Skills: Fluency in English is a must.
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in sales; key contacts in the industry are a plus.
- Persistence: A relentless attitude and a hunter mindset.
- Drive: A commitment to achieving targets and making things happen.
- Learning and Methodology: A fast learner who is familiar with CRM tools (Salesforce, Dynamics, etc.).
- Start-Up Experience: Experience in a start-up environment is a plus.
- Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or Public Relations is a plus.
