Position Overview: Kampala Independent Hospital is expanding its exceptional team and is looking to hire a talented Laboratory Technologist. You will work with a collaborative, multidisciplinary team and have access to the latest medical technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine and specialized laboratory tests and analyses.
- Ensure accuracy and reliability of test results.
- Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment.
- Collect and process patient specimens.
- Document and report test results to healthcare providers.
- Adhere to safety and quality control protocols.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Laboratory Technology or a related field.
- At least 24 months of experience in a similar role.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of accuracy and safety.
