Position Summary: The IT Security Officer is responsible for ensuring the security of the bank’s IT systems and infrastructure. This role involves monitoring, analyzing, and responding to security incidents, as well as implementing security measures to protect the organization’s data and IT resources.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor the bank’s IT systems for security breaches and vulnerabilities.
- Implement security measures and controls to protect data and IT infrastructure.
- Respond to and investigate security incidents and breaches.
- Conduct regular security assessments and audits.
- Develop and maintain IT security policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure compliance with security standards.
- Provide training and awareness programs on IT security for staff.
- Stay updated with the latest security trends and technologies.
Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CEH will be an added advantage.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT security or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of IT security principles, practices, and technologies.
- Experience with security tools and technologies such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and antivirus software.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
