Job Details:
Q-Sourcing Limited trading as Q-Sourcing Servtec is a manpower management solutions firm operating in the East African Region in Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda, and South Sudan. On behalf of our client in the telecom industry, we are looking for competent, skilled, and experienced Direct Sales Executives to work in Uganda.
Job Purpose:
The role holder will be responsible for merchant acquisition recruitment, relationship management, and the implementation of the overall merchant strategy across all Multi-National & Local Corporate companies, Point of Sale (POS) terminals, and POS software providers to scale up footprint & reach.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Merchant Acquisition – MNCs, Local Corporates & POS
- Delivering exceptional sales performance by identifying local companies to drive the Airtel merchant business.
- Ownership & achievements of daily, monthly, quarterly & annual targets within the assigned segment.
- Identifying potential prospects & carrying physical visits & pitches to ensure closure within the niche.
- Ensuring KYC due diligence of all prospects to ensure compliance before tie-ups and follow-through on contract closure.
Merchant Training & Relationship Management
- Responsible for training all tied-up merchants, both owners & business handlers.
- Responsible for relationship management of all appointed merchants and ensuring business growth and adherence to compliance.
- Ensuring refresher trainings on key business developments & in the event of handler turnover at the merchant point.
Stakeholder Management
- Collaborating and working with 3rd party providers to identify sales leads within the assigned segment and ensure closure of the same.
- Identifying service gaps and escalating to support teams to ensure corrective action.
Revenue Growth & Business Review
- Ensuring that all set up merchant outlets across the country are active and operational.
- Establishing collaborative relationships with all tied-up partners to ensure business efficiency.
- Establishing clear sales objectives & value propositions for all merchant prospects.
- Working together with the Team leader to ensure performance tracking & timely report availability to individual merchants.
- Ensuring that all appointed merchants are well-branded & products fully merchandised.
Experience and Qualifications:
- Diploma / Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration, or a related field is advantageous.
- Proven sales experience.
- Sound consultative selling skills.
- Excellent networking skills.
- Effective communication skills.
- Exceptional customer service skills.
